Abstract

Islam is a universal religion that regulates all human life activities, including in debt activities, this study aims to determine how the influence of Religiosity and Knowledge of Usury on Debt Behavior with Siri' Culture as a moderating variable in the community of North Belopa District, Luwu Regency. This type of research is quantitative research using a quantitative approach with a sample of 240 people in North Belopa District, Luwu Regency. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Structural Equation Model based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of this study indicate that Religiosity and Knowledge of Usury have a positive and significant effect on Debt Behavior in the community of North Belopa District, Luwu Regency. Then, Siri' Culture is unable to moderate the influence of Religiosity on Debt Behavior and Siri' Culture has a positive and significant effect on moderating the influence of Knowledge of Usury on Debt Behavior in the community of North Belopa District, Luwu Regency.
